THE LEFT'S MASQUERADE FOR SEDITION

Halloween - Trick or Treat? We are being Tricked!

Masquerade - A false show or pretence

Sedition - Incitement of resistance to or insurrection against lawful authority https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/sedition

It all started with this. Please note the expressions on Mass Media Mavens as they realize Donald J. Trump is the 46th President of the United States.

Do you remember what happened when it was apparent Trump won?

After criticizing him for not committing ahead of time to accept the election results, https://www.nytimes.com/2016/10/20/us/politics/presidential-debate.html,

the Left went nuts when they did not win, starting riots election night and continuing riots to this day. The pretense: They tell us they are fighting fascism - their masquerade for sedition.

Here are some photos.

The irony: protesters waved signs decrying violence while they burned cars, yelled obscenities about Trump, set fire to American flags, threatened to kill Trump, and urged the rape of Trump's wife!

They assaulted people, heaved Molotov cocktails, threw rocks at police, broke windows and vandalized businesses. A female Trump supporter was pepper-sprayed while giving an on-camera interview. A firebomb ignited a generator-powered spotlight.

The photos include two instances of the words KILL TRUMP scrawled on walls.

Here are more descriptions

We were pushed by a man in a mask. Our clothes were drawn on with permanent marker by other protesters. And we were called the vilest names I have ever heard as we entered and exited the venue. What the individuals who assaulted us did not know is that I am the sister of Marine First Lt. Travis Manion, and Amy is the wife of Navy SEAL Lt. Brendan Looney, who gave their lives in Iraq and Afghanistan. Travis was killed in 2007, and Brendan in 2010. http://www.dailywire.com/news/12730/gold-star-family-members-anti-trump-protesters-hank-berrien http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2017/jan/23/gold-star-family-says-anti-trump-protesters-spit-o/

…a rolling series of confrontations that injured six police officers and left store windows and ATMs smashed … the crowd, some of whom were armed with crowbars and hammers … three [police] head injuries caused by rocks and other projectiles….Police rushed protesters who had begun to hurl broken bricks, tossed newspaper racks and sidewalk trash containers into the street, setting them on fire… One heavily-damaged limousine was swarmed by protesters at one point and later set ablaze. http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2017/01/20/day-protests-arrests-expected-trump-becomes-president/96788208/

Here are reactions from the Left

A democrat congresswoman deemed the sight "beautiful!" Val Demings applauded the violent protests. We have seen demonstrations.... Young people at Berkeley protesting against this unconstitutional order,...We encourage our young people to get involved–I thought it was a beautiful sight... as we encourage people to get involved, what directions and instructions and how can we have a more organized effort so that they can be a major tool in moving our agenda forward...[Emphasis added.] http://www.theblaze.com/news/2017/02/03/democratic-lawmaker-berkeley-riots-were-a-beautiful-sight/

Democrat Senator Schumer: I think the energy’s terrific. Do some of them throw some brickbats and things? Sure, it doesn’t bother me... http://truthtroubles.com/tag/baltimore/

The Left 'justify' the violence by blaming the victims.

At Berkeley, Milo Yiannopoulos, was "a vocal Donald Trump supporter", "a breitbart provocateur" "a right wing provocateur ","an alt-right troll", "a conservative provocateur" http://www.eastbaytimes.com/2017/02/01/uc-berkeley-cancels-breitbart-provocateur-milo-yiannopoulos-event/ http://www.breitbart.com/milo/2017/02/02/bloomberg-blames-milo-for-uc-berkeley-riots-on-twitter/ http://www.sfgate.com/news/article/Protesters-storm-Milo-Yiannopoulos-event-at-UC-10901829.php http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/milo-yiannopoulos-speech-at-berkeley-canceled-amid-violent-protests_us_58911132e4b02772c4ea10d0

At NYU, Gavin McInnes, who was pepper sprayed, was blamed. http://www.wsj.com/video/conservative-speaker-sparks-nyu-protests/E11D1E01-6853-4BC4-B96C-077B8BFF0378.html https://newsone.com/3657797/protest-explodes-at-nyu-against-right-wing-speaker-gavin-mcinnes/ http://www.foxnews.com/us/2017/02/03/planned-protests-break-out-at-nyu-over-conservative-speakers-appearance.html

Yvette Felarca, with the group 'By Any Means Necessary': ...it was a militant protest. And everyone was there to shut him down. And so, whatever it was going to take to do that, we were all there with a united cause and we were stunningly successful....I think that the Left has been far too timid for way too long, [what happened in Berkeley] should be the model of how the movement needs to take things now in the future. Is this not SEDITION?

SMOOTH TRANSITION

Remember Obama's promise of a smooth transition.

President Obama on Wednesday promised a smooth transition to President-elect Donald Trump, as he called on Americans to stand behind their new leader and root for his success. 'The presidency and the vice presidency is bigger than any of us,' Obama said in the Rose Garden of the White House, flanked by Vice President Biden. 'We are all rooting for his success in uniting and leading the country.'

Smooth transition? Never happened with Democrat leadership

Senator Tom Cotton confronted Schumer about breaking a promise to confirm a nomination. Schumer attempted to head him off by implying that Cotton was ignorant in not knowing that Obama faced the same delays eight years ago. Cotton had this blistering reply:

Eight years ago, I was getting my ass shot at in Afghanistan,so don't talk to me about where I was 8 years ago. http://townhall.com/tipsheet/cortneyobrien/2017/01/23/tom-cottons-fiery-exchange-with-schumer-over-stalled-nominations-n2275869

Schumer's implication that delays in confirmations occurred in Obama's first term was, of course, a lie. Obama was inaugurated on January 20...The very next day the Senate confirmed six of his Cabinet secretaries ....about a quarter of the GOP caucus was voting for even the most controversial nominees... http://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2017/1/27/14397448/democrats-trump-cabinet

That courtesy was not reciprocated. President Donald Trump moved promptly to announce his nominations. There was no cooperation and so no smooth transition. http://dailysignal.com/2017/01/22/trumps-nominees-face-unprecedented-democrat-obstructionism/ http://dailysignal.com/2017/01/29/13-of-trumps-cabinet-nominees-await-senate-approval-leaving-agencies-without-a-leader/

Republicans who know Schumer well are watching closely, struck by how quickly his caucus embraced combative tactics in recent weeks to stall the confirmation of Trump’s Cabinet secretaries. In a Republican-controlled chamber, where the rules no longer allow Democrats to filibuster Cabinet nominees, Democrats tried slowing things down by burying nominees in hundreds of written follow-up questions, boycotting committee-room votes to protest their qualifications or Trump’s latest actions, and then forcing the Senate to stretch out consideration of each pick. https://www.washingtonpost.com/powerpost/schumers-dilemma-satisfying-the-base-while-protecting-his-minority/2017/02/04/b40efa2c-ea48-11e6-b82f-687d6e6a3e7c_story.html?utm_term=.9592b5949322 http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/judiciary-committee-advances-2-federal-appeals-court-nominees-along-partisan-lines/article/2638685

And it did not happen with former president Obama

ORGANIZING FOR ACTION

When former President Barack Obama said he was “heartened” by anti-Trump protests, he was sending a message of approval to his troops. Troops? Yes, Obama has an army of agitators — numbering more than 30,000 — who will fight his Republican successor at every turn of his historic presidency. And Obama will command them from a bunker less than two miles from the White House. He’s doing it through a network of leftist nonprofits led by Organizing for Action. Normally you’d expect an organization set up to support a politician and his agenda to close up shop after that candidate leaves office, but not Obama’s OFA. Rather, it’s gearing up for battle, with a growing war chest and more than 250 offices across the country.Far from sulking, OFA activists helped organize anti-Trump marches across US cities, some of which turned into riots. After Trump issued a temporary ban on immigration from seven terror-prone Muslim nations, the demonstrators jammed airports, chanting: 'No ban, no wall, sanctuary for all!' Democrats have already made an impact with earlier efforts. They coordinated rallies this year to oppose a House bill to repeal and replace Obamacare, and the well-attended events helped motivate thousands of people to flood the Capitol switchboards. [Emphasis added.] http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/democrats-kick-off-anti-trump-resistance-summer/article/2624624

Run by old Obama aides and campaign workers, federal tax records show “nonpartisan” OFA marshals 32,525 volunteers nationwide. Registered as a 501(c)(4), it doesn’t have to disclose its donors, but they’ve been generous. OFA has raised more than $40 million in contributions and grants since evolving from Obama’s campaign organization Obama for America in 2013. Obama will be overseeing it all from a shadow White House located within two miles of Trump. It features a mansion, which he’s fortifying with construction of a tall brick perimeter, and a nearby taxpayer-funded office with his own chief of staff and press secretary. Michelle Obama will also open an office there, along with the Obama Foundation. http://nypost.com/2017/02/11/how-obama-is-scheming-to-sabotage-trumps-presidency/ http://www.dcclothesline.com/2017/10/27/heres-a-list-of-locations-for-the-november-4th-anti-trump-protests/

And Hillary joins in.

...Hillary Clinton declared herself 'part of the resistance.' ... the presidential candidate who lost the election fair and square tried to position herself as a leader in the effort to delegitimize the winner.

Conclusion

Whatever one may think of President Trump, he deserves fair play. This masquerade is not that.

Facts are stubborn things ...

Don't be afraid to see what you see…

There are no easy answers, but there are simple answers. We must have the courage to do what we know is morally right…

Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly, leave the rest to God.

Ronald Reagan
